Muso are three House dj's from London playing a mix of dance music ranging from deep and funky to dark and dirty!MUSO dj profile - Gareth Kneller (gKay)Gareth (who until recently played out under the name gKay) first attempted djing when he was given a set of belt drive sound lab decks, the love of mixing thankfully outlasted the decks - they lasted just a week before being traded in for technics.First played out live (nervously) in 2000 in front of an expectant crowd of about 150 (straight after the previous dj had blown the system), the experience turned his interest into an obsession. Since then Gareth has played out regulary, honing his skills at various venues around London such as Thirst and Opium in Soho, Retox in Covent Garden, The Rocky Horror Halloween charity ball (alongside Radio 1 dj Fergie) as well as regular slots with Definitive Sound & House down South around Brixton and South London.Gareth joined MUSO in time for their first event and has played at nearly all their outings since. Founding member of successful night "House down South" alongside fellow MUSO Guesty and Graham Lloyd from Subbass.Music style - Funky, dirty deep house with strong vocals & groovy basslines - his flip side is a deep, moody tech house sound that occaisionally sees the light in public.MUSO dj profile - Justin Couzens (guesty)Guesty (real name Justin Couzens) was first diagnosed with his obsession for vinyl in 1998, playing his first set just 3 hours after buying a Synergy CDJ deck, using it with a standard CD player and second hand mixer - luckily nobody there could hear the difference between a seamless mix and shootout at the OK Coral. Fortunately, things have developed dramatically since those dark days, and Guesty has since tickled punters on both sides of the pond with cheeky residencies at Soju (Chicago), Zentra (Chicago) & Drakes (London), as well as more recent sets with MUSO at Renezio & Redstar, and at various other random events.Music style - House - from deep, dark & dirty, to cheeky & funky... or should that read chunky??
